"Snow! Snow! Snow! is a celebration of snow and speed, pure and simple -- readers will understand exactly why, after landing with a bone-rattling SPLOOMPH, the kids have only one thing to say: “Again! Again!” -- Kirkus

Turkey is in trouble. Again. He made it through Thanksgiving without becoming a turkey dinner, but now it’s almost Christmas, and guess what’s on the menu? Turkey decides the only thing to do is ask Santa for help. He sets off for the North Pole, but getting in to see Santa at Christmastime isn’t as easy as Turkey expected. It’s going to take all his ideas — and his clever disguises — to find a way into Santa’s house. After many hilarious attempts, Turkey comes up with the perfect disguise, and Santa has the perfect solution! In this holiday treat, a companion to Turkey Trouble, Wendi Silvano’s story has once again been matched with my pictures. Selected as a top ten fiction picture books of 2012 by YABC. (Two Lions)

Life’s pretty good on Monkey Island. All day long, the monkeys sit around talking their monkey talk and enjoying their big-time monkey dreams. That is, except Oswego Pete, who is one slick monkey. He’s bent on finding the Easy Life — a place where a monkey never has to bend all out of shape for a banana, or do any hard work, ever. Is it where the high grass grows at the foot of the mountain? Or down by the seaside?

Uh-huh Freddie, the Chief Monkey, says easy isn’t always good, and a

little hard work’s not always bad. Who’s right?

Written by the great Walter Dean Myers. (HarperCollins)

One night the wind howled, and the snow fell and fell and fell and fell and fell...

Turkey was in trouble. Bad trouble. The kind of trouble where it’s almost Thanksgiving and you’re the main course. What’s a turkey to do? Find out in Turkey Trouble, my first collaboration with Wendi Silvano. An International Reading Association-Children’s Book Council Children’s Choice title.

COYOTE is based on the real events of the morning I learned of my brother Chase's unexpected death - a morning when I rode with a coyote - then returned home to learn that Chase was gone. Retold through the eyes of a child, COYOTE is a gentle and lyrical picture book dealing with the subject of loss. It is my hope that COYOTE will help children talk about loss and to show how art can be used to help heal the hurt of losing someone you love. In Chase's memory, my wife Krista and I are donating our share of the proceeds to The Catherine Violet Hubbard Foundation.
